Wedding ceremony requirements

Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid Ontario marriage licence before a legal wedding ceremony. Legal wedding ceremonies require two witnesses and an authorized officiant.

Wedding Officiant TO may decline or postpone a ceremony if legal requirements are not met, required documents are missing, or the ceremony details differ materially from what was agreed.

Pricing and payments

Published pricing is provided as a starting point. Final pricing may depend on date, time, location, travel, rush timing, ceremony length, custom script requests, rehearsal support, and special requirements.

Any deposit, balance, cancellation, rescheduling, or refund terms should be confirmed in writing before booking.

Vow renewals and symbolic ceremonies

Vow renewals and symbolic ceremonies are not new legal marriage ceremonies. They do not replace the legal process required to get married in Ontario.

Couples requesting a vow renewal are responsible for understanding that the ceremony is symbolic unless otherwise clearly agreed in writing and legally applicable.
